What is an Internet limit?

This is the limit on the amount of online purchases set on your cards. By default, the limit is UAH 2,000 per day, but you can change it yourself at any time in the Privat24 app.

How does the Internet limit work?

To set the required limit amount, you need to enable the "Online payment" switch. The Internet limit will only take into account payments that do not require confirmation.

If the "Online payment" switch is disabled, online purchases will be prohibited, except for those that require confirmation (via SMS or Privat24).

If the amount of your purchase exceeds the set Internet limit, the payment will be declined. But we will immediately send you a message with instructions so you can change your settings and try again.

An example of how the Internet limit works

For example, you set a limit of UAH 2,500 per month and made a purchase without additional confirmation - you purchased a subscription for UAH 1,500. Until the end of the month, you can spend another UAH 1,000 online. And from the first day of next month, UAH 2,500 will again be available for online payment. However, payments with additional confirmation will be made regardless of the remaining Internet limit.

How to set/change internet limit?

  1. Select the required card in the Privat24 app.
  2. Go to the "Card Management - Limits - Online Payment" menu.
  3. Specify or change the amount of the Internet limit.
