Can tickets be registered for international railway trips?

Unfortunately, “Ukrzaliznytsia” bans ticket registration for international railway trips in PrivatBank channels.

How to use an electronic train ticket (by QR code)?

You need to demonstrate a ticket with the QR code on the screen of your smartphone and show the document confirming the passenger’s identity. You are not required to print out your ticket.

How to use a non-electronic train ticket (with an order code)?

Exchange the order code for a ticket at any automated railway ticket office of Ukraine, but at least 30 minutes before the departure of your train.

What should a passenger do if his/her first name or last name on a ticket is spelled with an error?

If the sound of a last name/first name is not affected, up to 3 errors in the spelling are permitted. No need either to return or buy a new ticket.

How to issue a document for transporting pets or luggage?

When you register a train ticket, at the stage of filling in passenger data, you need to check the box opposite the transport document you need for a pet, luggage or equipment. The cost of the transport document will be added to the total cost of the ticket.

How to return tickets?

You should click the “Return Ticket” button in the ticket archive.

The button will appear in the archive 30 minutes after the ticket is registered and will disappear if less than an hour is left before train departure.

If it is necessary to return the ticket during this last hour before the departure, please, go to the railway ticket office.

How to return tickets printed out at the railway ticket office?

You should go to the railway ticket office with the printed original ticket and a document which confirms the passenger's identity.

How to find out the information on train canceling?

For any clarifications, passengers should address the referral service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

What documents should I submit to report about a business trip?

According to the Order “On the Approval of the Procedure for Registration of Settlement and Reporting Documents when selling Travel and Transport Documents by Railway Transport” No. 331/137 as of May 30, 2013, the boarding document is the settlement fiscalized document. You need to submit the printed boarding document to the accounting department or treasury as evidence which would confirm the trip.

What are the rates for booking railway tickets?

Booking a ticket across Ukraine is 4% of the cost. Booking a ticket across Europe is 0% of the cost.
