Credit history and “StatusControl”

If your application for a new loan or a credit limit increase was declined, we recommend reviewing your credit history. Up to 80% of loan rejections happen due to a negative credit history.

What is credit history and how to check it?

Credit history is information about all your loans and your repayment discipline. The Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories (UBCH) receives this data from banks, insurance and leasing companies, credit unions, and other financial institutions.

There are several ways to check your credit history:

  • in the Privat24 online bank “Services - Credit Score”;
  • via the Privat24 app (“More - Loans - Credit Score”);
  • via the ubch.ua website using the borrower's login (on the right side of the website);
  • via the “Credit History” app.

“StatusControl” service provided by UBCH

To avoid being rejected in the future, monitor your credit history. The “StatusControl” service from UBCH will help with this. Using this service, you will not miss important events in your credit history, you will be able to add your relatives' credit histories to the tracking with their consent, and you will protect yourself and your family from credit fraud.

Tools of the “StatusControl” service:

1. Notifications about all significant events in your credit history:

  • occurrence of a loan delinquency;
  • repayment of overdue debt;
  • loan origination;
  • loan closure;
  • change of credit card limit;
  • request for your credit report by one of the bureau's partners;
  • current credit score (monthly).

2. Unlimited access to credit history and credit score.
Order “Credit History” and “Credit Score” reports for free and without restrictions.

3. FREEZE option (anti-fraud protection).
You can inform banks that you temporarily do not want to conclude new loan agreements to protect yourself from fraudulent loans.

Before applying to the Bank for a new loan, disable the FREEZE option!

4. Family “StatusControl”.
Monitor your relatives' credit histories. Without additional costs, you can track changes, manage the FREEZE option, and receive “Credit History” and “Credit Score” reports for up to three individuals with their consent.

5. Additional options for obtaining data from open sources:

  • Keep track of the counterparties you work with. It is possible to add up to 10 legal entities or private entrepreneurs to monitoring to quickly learn about changes in their files and make appropriate decisions regarding cooperation.
  • Check encumbrances on movable property, real estate and vehicles owned. You can request up to 5 reports with data from the State Register of Encumbrances on Movable Property, the Register of Property Rights, and the Unified State Register of Vehicles each month to minimize your risks in any property transactions.
