For the first eleven months of 2016 PrivatBank remained the largest taxpayer among banks and one of the top-20 largest corporate taxpayers in Ukraine.

During the first eleven months of 2016, PrivatBank transferred UAH 5.875 billion to the state budget, which exceeds the total taxes paid by all other Ukrainian banks, including state banks. For comparison, the budgets of Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr approved by the city councils totalled UAH 5.276 billion.

As reported by the Ukrainian tax authorities, PrivatBank is one of the top-20 largest taxpayers in Ukraine. According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, PrivatBank has become the absolute leader and the largest taxpayer in the banking sector by the results of the third quarter of 2016.
