More than 70% of Ukrainian freelancers plan to continue receiving payments on their PrivatBank cards according to the results of a survey conducted by the largest Ukrainian freelancer marketplace Freelancehunt.com.

The survey showed that 92% of freelancers are customers of PrivatBank. Despite any positive or negative attitudes towards the nationalisation of the bank, about 90% of freelancers are planning to remain PrivatBank customers. The survey showed that 85% of those who already have an account in another financial institution do not plan to change anything.

More than half (56%) of freelancers who do not have an account in another bank will continue to be serviced only by PrivatBank. Another 40% plan not only to remain as clients of the nationalised financial institution, but also to open an account in a private bank.

In summary, a maximum 5% of respondents are seeking to entirely change bank, and 70% are going to continue using PrivatBank’s cards and services for receiving payments.
