Based on the results of 9 months of 2021, PrivatBank received a profit of UAH 21.2 billion, which almost matches the profit indicator for the same period last year (UAH 21.3 billion).

The revival of business activity in Ukraine and a balanced risk management policy led to the growth of PrivatBank's loan portfolio by 19%. At the same time, the volumes of clients' funds placed with the bank remain stable, even with a significant decrease in the rates on deposits in the market.

According to the bank's press service, since the beginning of the year, PrivatBank has been increasing its operational efficiency: the business result before deducting reserves increased by UAH 9 billion compared to last year, both due to business development and cost control.

At the same time, the macro factors that cause fluctuations in the value of the portfolio of government securities in 2021 negatively affect the result of PrivatBank and reduce its profit by almost -6.7 billion UAH.
