Anti-fraud

Fraudsters can resort to various scams to steal your data. We will tell you about the most common of them.

Here are several schemes which fraudsters use

Strange SMS

Strange SMS

You can receive messages containing various access codes. For example:
Your one-time password to log in to the *888*.
Please do not share this data with anyone.

Fraudsters can also swindle your consent to forward your messages to a different phone number. Such a message may look like this:
Переадресація SMS у мобільного оператора Vodafone: надішліть SMS із кодом +380ХХХХХХХХХ на номер 3031.

You should ignore it as well.

Winning a raffle

Winning a raffle

If you have received an SMS, an information message or an email about winning a prize, for getting which you need to urgently pay a tax, duty or enter your personal data, it means that fraudsters are trying to deceive you. Never transfer money to get a prize.

Financial aid from organizations

You can come across such a link in social networks or messengers. As a rule, for getting such a “Financial aid” you need to fill out a form, where you will be asked to indicate your card number, expiry date and CVV code.

This data would not be requested by an official organization. So do not provide it under any circumstances.

Never Share your Card Details with Anyone

Never Share your Card Details with Anyone

Even if they are requested by the bank. In such a way fraudsters may say that they are calling from your bank because they need your card details for certain operations.

Never share with anyone:

  • your bank card number, its expiry date, PIN and CVV2 code;
  • your Privat24password;
  • passwords you receive in SMS.

PrivatBank employees never ask you for this data. They will also never call you first to clarify your personal information.
