On July 4, Odesa opened the region's first Veteran Care Space (Prostir turboty pro veteraniv)—a support center for veterans, military personnel, and their families undergoing treatment or recovery after injuries. The project was implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine with the support of PrivatBank and in partnership with the NGO "Mitzni 300" (Strong 300).

The Space operates within one of Odesa's medical institutions. Here, veterans can receive necessary information, consultations, and support. The premises were completely renovated and equipped with everything needed for specialists to work and for visitors to stay comfortably. The design included areas for consultations, communication, and rest.

Special attention was paid to accessibility: the Space was created considering the entire user journey, ensuring it is convenient for veterans and their families to reach, easy to navigate on-site, and simple to access the necessary support. Currently, specialists from PrivatBank's Inclusive Service Department are working here.

The opening was attended by project partner teams, representatives of the state, public, and business sectors, as well as the medical institution. Guests of the event included Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, Minister for Veterans Affairs Nataliya Kalmykova, Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Ruslan Prykhodko, Minister of Health Viktor Liashko, Head of Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper, representatives of PrivatBank—including Deputy Head of the Board for Operations Natalia Savchuk and Head of the Southern Macroregional Management Oleksiy Tsymbaliuk—as well as veteran and founder of the Veteran Union "Mitzni 300" Andrii Kucher, along with his family.

"It is important for veterans that essential services are accessible where they undergo treatment and recovery. That is why specialists from PrivatBank's Inclusive Service Department will work in this Space, assisting with access to financial and banking services. We believe in the power of such partnerships and want similar Care Spaces to appear in other regions of Ukraine, making comprehensive support for veterans and access to financial services even more available," noted Natalia Savchuk, PrivatBank Management Board member for operations.

The project team is confident that the Care Space in Odesa is another step toward making this model of support for veterans possible across the entire country.
