PrivatBank has launched a special programme for Ukrainian agribusinesses to purchase machinery and equipment with 20 percent reimbursement from the state budget. PrivatBank became an authorized bank (bank through which payments for machinery and equipment can be made) of the state compensation programme. The first customers have already submitted full packages of documents in order to participate in the programme.

“We see great interest from our customers in the programme, - said Serhiy Kliuiev, PrivatBank Head of Small and Medium Business. - Everyone who wants to participate in the new programme will be able to submit documents at any branch quickly and easily. Added convenience is in the fact that we are present even in small towns and villages, which means that agrarians are able to participate in the partial reimbursement programme without interrupting their work, which is now in full swing”.

The programme of partial reimbursement of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment for domestic production, initiated by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, started in March 2017. In early July, the state allocated UAH 550 mln for this programme. Support totals 20 percent of the cost. In accordance with the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 130, all agro-enterprises that have purchased machinery and equipment since March 16, 2017 can participate in the programme.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine the first payments are planned for the fourth quarter of 2017. Full information about the programme and the list of documents is available on the Bank's website as well as the ability to apply for reimbursement.
