Updating your data is important. Thus, the bank will continue servicing your accounts.

The data is updated in compliance with the applicable Law of Ukraine “On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction”. According to this law, each Ukrainian bank must take verification measures and ensure the relevance of received documents and available information about customers. Frequency for updating the data is determined individually for each customer, based on a set of factors stipulated by the NBU Resolution No. 65 as of May 20, 2020, but the data must be updated at least once every five years.

If your identification data have not changed, the bank still must receive the documents confirming their validity and update your information in the questionnaire.
Otherwise, until the data update, you will not be able to perform any card and account transactions.

In some cases, the bank may request documents confirming the origin sources of funds. The basic list of documents you can provide is given hereinunder.
