W8-BEN-E Form

W8-BEN-E Form is a tax form that is mandatory for all foreign banks that have correspondent accounts with US banks. The form is provided for the purpose of confirming that the financial institution is not a resident of the United States and for the purpose of avoiding taxation.

Cooperation with international financial organizations

  • Risk Sharing Program

In August 2023, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and PrivatBank concluded an agreement under the Risk Sharing Program for lending to micro, small, medium and large enterprises, as well as the grant program "SME Competitiveness Program in Eastern Partnership” for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, financed by the European Union within the framework of the EU4Business Initiative.

 

In September 2024, PrivatBank and the EBRD concluded the largest Risk Sharing Agreement in Ukraine, providing an opportunity to support critically important sectors of the economy for a total of EUR 400 million.
This will facilitate lending to Ukrainian micro, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as private households and condominiums, granting them access to the largest grant support program in Ukraine.

 

  • TFP line

In March 2024, the EBRD expands its cooperation with PrivatBank and opens a trade financing limit of USD 25 mln. The agreement will contribute to the further development of trade financing at PrivatBank.
