PrivatBank, Ukraine’s largest bank and one of the largest taxpayers in the country, is proud of a significant increase in its tax contributions, further demonstrating its strong support for the national economy and the state. For the previous financial year, the bank has paid a total of 41 billion UAH corporate income tax, up from 26.7 billion UAH in the preceding year. This increase reflects PrivatBank’s strong financial performance, with a pre-tax pre-audited profit of 81 billion UAH in 2024.
In addition, during 2024, PrivatBank paid almost 3 billion UAH (vs 2,6 bln UAH in 2023) in other types of taxes, including VAT, single social contribution, local property taxes, etc.
“Our increased tax contribution is a testament to our strong financial health, operational integrity, and commitment to the broader society,” said Larysa Chernyshova, Deputy Chairperson of the Board for Finance. “As a responsible corporate citizen, we take pride in fulfilling our obligations to the state and the people. Paying taxes is not just a duty but a privilege that allows us to directly contribute to еру country’s defence capabilities and develop the national economy.”
Beyond its financial contributions, PrivatBank remains dedicated to maintaining a socially responsible banking model that prioritizes customer, economic stability, and long-term value creation. The bank continues to implement ethical lending practices, support small, medium and corporate businesses, implements innovations for retail customers, and engages in community development initiatives that enhance financial inclusion and barrier free practices.
