The new service in Privat24 simplifies the splitting of shared expenses without exchanging card details.
In partnership with Visa, PrivatBank has launched a new feature in Privat24 — "Request for Payment" ("Запит на оплату"), which simplifies settlements between users in everyday shared expense scenarios.
The new service is aimed at everyday situations, including paying for joint purchases, restaurant bills, taxi rides, or buying gifts. Using the feature, a user who has made a payment can send a request to other participants to return their share of the funds without exchanging card numbers or sending receipts in messengers.
To use the service, you need to select the relevant transaction in your card statement in Privat24, use the "Split Payment" function, add recipients from your phone book, and specify the amount for each of them. After this, the system automatically sends a payment request and, if necessary, a reminder about it.
