The first 65 homeowners' associations (HOAs) have already received funds through PrivatBank for autonomous power supply under the state program «SvitloDIM» (LightHome). As reported by Yevhen Zaigraiev, PrivatBank Management Board Member for Corporate Business and SME, the total amount of state financial support received by the bank's clients in the first week since the program's launch at PrivatBank is 17.7 million UAH.
One of the first to apply for the funds was the HOA "Zatyshna Oselia-14" (Cozy Home-14), which manages a 24-story building with 126 apartments in the Desnianskyi district of the capital, in Troieshchyna. Thanks to the new state support program, the building received 300 thousand UAH in aid, which has already been invested in increasing the capacity of the building's solar power plant's battery storage by 45 kW. This will ensure uninterrupted power supply for all necessary building systems.
"Troieshchyna's power supply suffers the most from enemy attacks, so the residents of the building actively support all steps toward its real energy independence, which is especially important now — during electricity blackouts. We have our own solar power plant, which provides energy to the elevator, heating systems, and life support systems of the building. Increasing the battery capacity by 45 kW will allow the building to run on its own electricity for almost a day," says Serhii Vasylina, head of the HOA "Zatyshna Oselia-14." - "As the head of the HOA, I keep my finger on the pulse of all state and local support programs, and when I learned about the launch of the "SvitloDIM" program, I immediately turned to PrivatBank, where we have been serviced since the association's creation. And we have already received the money to purchase the batteries."

State funds are earmarked and can be used for the purchase of generators, inverters, batteries, high-voltage batteries, and solar panels.
