State-owned PrivatBank led the Opendatabot Index among Ukrainian banks with an impeccable business reputation. Following the results of last year's operations, the country's largest financial institution accounted for 40.3% of the banking sector's total income—the largest market share. PrivatBank has held the top position for the third consecutive year since the study was launched.

Overall, the banks included in the top 5 of the index earned over UAH 304 billion, increasing their revenue by 13.8% year-over-year. Meanwhile, two state-owned banks accumulated more than half of the sector's income, while the rating also included one bank with foreign capital and two private banks.

The Opendatabot Index is based on the banks' annual financial statements for 2025 and takes into account key performance indicators and business reputation. In a situation where the banking sector remains one of the main donors to the state budget and, simultaneously, a key channel for financing the economy, an effectiveness assessment based on public and impartial data allows distinguishing scale from actual performance. This is important for depositors and businesses, as well as for the state as the shareholder of the largest institutions.
