PrivatBank has launched a new special "Veteran" deposit, aimed at supporting male and female defenders during their transition back to civilian life. This is the first deposit on the market created specifically for the veteran community, featuring simple conditions, a competitive rate, and the opportunity to establish basic financial stability.

"The 'Veteran' deposit is not just a new deposit; it is a financial instrument of support and gratitude for those who defended the country, and a chance to create basic stability in civilian life," notes Dmytro Musiienko, PrivatBank Board Member for Retail Business.

The deposit rate is 14% annual in Hryvnias—this is the highest yield among all PrivatBank deposit programs, including the "Glory to Heroes" deposit for active military personnel. Interest payments are made monthly to a card, allowing for regular and stable income already during the contract period. The deposit is opened for 12 months: the minimum amount is 10 thousand Hryvnias, the maximum is 500 thousand, with the possibility of replenishment at any time up to 100 thousand Hryvnias monthly.

The offer is available to male and female veterans who hold a state veteran certificate issued since 2014 - combatants, persons with disabilities due to war, or war participants. The document can be either in paper form or electronic via the Diia application.

One of the key differences of this deposit is the terms for early closure. If money is needed sooner, the deposit can be closed with income preserved, as accrued interest is recalculated at a rate of 7% annual. Currently, the deposit can be opened at any bank branch, while management of the active deposit is available online through Privat24.
