PrivatBank has been recognized as the "Best Bank of 2026 in Ukraine" by the international publication Global Finance. The corresponding results were published as part of the 33rd annual World’s Best Banks 2026 ranking.

Global Finance notes that the largest Ukrainian state-owned bank continues to hold leading positions in the country's financial market, combining a large-scale client base, digital services, and investments in technology and artificial intelligence.

According to the publication, PrivatBank’s market share is 23%. The bank serves over 18 million clients through a network of approximately 1,100 branches and focuses on both the retail and corporate business segments.

Global Finance also drew attention to the bank's financial results. Following the results of 2025, PrivatBank's net profit after tax increased by 19% to UAH 29.1 billion, or about $687 million.

The Best Bank award from Global Finance is traditionally given to financial institutions that demonstrate effective asset and liability management, implement digital innovations, and adapt to changes in client behavior. This year’s ranking determined winners in over 150 countries worldwide.

The ranking winners were determined by Global Finance editors in conjunction with bankers, financial executives, and analysts from various countries around the world. The evaluation considered financial metrics—profitability, asset growth, business scale, and product innovation—as well as expert assessments of the market and bank clients.
