PrivatBank received the highest honors in the international SME Banking Agency Council 2026 study, winning in three key nominations among the region's banks: Digital Banking, Business Banking, and Financing.
International experts recognized PrivatBank for the development of digital services for entrepreneurs (Digital Banking), comprehensive products and quality of service for small and medium-sized businesses (Business Banking), as well as the effectiveness of lending programs and other financial solutions for entrepreneurs (Financing).
In the Daily Banking & Liabilities category, which evaluates the quality of daily banking services, payment services, and fund management solutions for business clients, PrivatBank took second place.
SME Banking Agency Council is an international industry study that annually assesses the development level of banking services for small and medium-sized businesses in banks across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The assessment is conducted across five areas — Digital Banking, Business Banking, Financing, Daily Banking & Liabilities, and Sustainability & Inclusion — focusing not on financial indicators but on the quality of products, digital services, customer experience, and access to financing, which makes the study's results an international indicator of banks' competitiveness in the SME segment.
This is PrivatBank’s second consecutive recognition from the SME Banking Agency: in November 2025, the bank won the Business Financing nomination among the region's banks.
"This victory confirms that PrivatBank remains one of the leaders in the development of modern banking for entrepreneurs. We systematically invest in digital services, expand financing options, and create solutions that help Ukrainian business. That is why entrepreneurs choose us. Currently, 57% of sole proprietors and 44% of legal entities consider PrivatBank as their main bank for service," noted Yevhen Zahraiev, PrivatBank Management Board Member for Corporate Business and MSB.
PrivatBank is the largest bank in Ukraine by the number of small and medium-sized business clients — today, the bank serves over 1 million business clients.
