What is cashback?

Cashback is a reward amount credited in Pryvit after a client completes a transaction in accordance with the terms of a promotional offer.

What is the limit (maximum amount) of cashback for the subscription?

50% of the subscription cost, but no more than 200 UAH / month.

Who can get connect the benefit to receive a cashback?

All clients who have connected and activated Pryvat Pro or United Pro and activated an offer.

For which transactions is cashback accrued?

For transactions made with a PrivatBank card for subscriptions to popular digital platforms during the offer period. MCC list: 4899, 5815, 5817, 5818, 7829, 5734, 7841 (for example, YouTube Premium, Megogo, Netflix, Google and Apple services, Spotify and others).

Does the cashback accrue, if the subscription is extended?

Yes, if the cashback offer hasn’t been turned off. The limit of the amount of the cashback is updated monthly.

Will the cashback deactivate if I switch to another subscription or when renewing your subscription?

Yes, cashback has to be activated again.

Is it necessary to pay taxes when withdrawing cashback?

Yes, when withdrawing cashback to a card account, taxes (PIT and military tax) are paid.

Can cashback be withdrawn after switching to another subscription?

Yes, accumulated cashback can be withdrawn in the Pryvit loyalty program.

Is it possible to accrue cashback for a Subscription if the permission to receive cashback was disabled in Privyt?

If you have disabled cashback in the Pryvit application settings, then after activating the Subscription with cashback you will not be able to receive it. How to fix it? On the main Pryvit screen in the settings in the upper right corner (three dots), you need to enable the Receive cashback slider.

Why might a payment be assigned a different MCC code?

A payment may often be automatically assigned a different MCC code if the transaction did not take place directly on the service's official website or app (for example, Spotify, YouTube, Megogo, Netflix) but rather through intermediaries:

  • Payment services and terminals: Portmone, iPay, EasyPay, City24, etc.
  • Digital wallets or third-party marketplaces.

The MCC code is determined exclusively by the service or the bank accepting the payment (the acquiring bank). PrivatBank has no influence over this code and lacks the technical ability to change or manually assign it after the transaction has been processed.
