Ukraine became the first country in the world where people can pay for products and services directly in chatbots of the popular messenger Viber using internet acquiring LiqPay by PrivatBank. As it was mentioned by the bank, exactly LiqPay became one of the world's first payment method through the popular messenger.

From now messenger users can make fast, simple and secure instant payments for various products and services through checked merchants of the Viber chatbots - marked with blue tick mark in the app. It is possible to buy products and services and pay for them with the click of a button in the Viber application selecting the most convenient method of payment Apple Pay or Google Pay, or simply by entering the card number.

This feature will work in all chatbots that are developed on the platform basis for the development of chatbots of Viber and companies registered in LiqPay. Among the first partners to join the service are the chatbot of electricity supplier YASNO, RailwayBot, where users can buy train tickets, and even the chatbot of the medical company «Synevo».

To start selling its own products and accept payments in Viber, companies need to join the supplier of payment services Liqpay, create their chatbot in Viber, and to permit the bot to accept payments.
