According to PrivatBank’s information, the first 2 condominiums have already received bank’s guarantees to ensure the supply of natural gas from “Naftogaz Trading” in the new heating season.

To obtain such a guarantee, a legal entity (a natural gas user) must put on the "coverage account" in the bank the amount for gas payment for one month, and receive a bank’s guarantee for a month of the heating season for only one working day.

The procedure for obtaining a bank guarantee is much simpler and faster than "concluding a tripartite agreement on the contractual write-off of gas", and from the point of view of the law is a complete alternative to such an agreement.

Note: the obligatory condition for registration of bank’s guarantees is the opened settlement account in PrivatBank and an actual financial condition of the client.

Under the company “CBR” estimates PrivatBank has business relationships with 70% of legal entities and 75% of entrepreneurs, with 45% of legal entities and 68% of entrepreneurs calling PrivatBank their main bank.
