Following an open and competitive search process - the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank has appointed Marc Krabbenborg as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board (Chief Digital Transformation Officer). Mr. Krabbenborg will assume his duties on 1 June.

Marc Krabbenborg has extensive international experience in leadership roles across banking technology, transaction services, and digital transformation. His career includes senior positions at leading global financial institutions:
- United Overseas Bank (Singapore): Managed the Payments portfolio and led the Payment Transformation.
- Deutsche Bank (Frankfurt): Served as CIO of Cash Management, responsible for global payments and channels technology.
- Lloyds Banking Group (London): Managed the technology for Global Transaction Banking as well as for Global Markets
- M2C Payments (Amsterdam): CEO and co-founder of this FinTech startup, which introduced Instant Payments in the Eurozone.
- Earlier in his career, Mr. Krabbenborg held various management positions in IT and operations at ING, Royal Bank of Scotland, ABN AMRO and Mastercard - in Amsterdam, New York and Singapore.
Marc Krabbenborg holds a doctoral degree in Applied Mathematics from the Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands (1989).
In his new role, Mr. Krabbenborg will focus on advancing the bank's innovation capabilities and customer engagement tools, with a particular emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence into the bank's operations.
Next to that, he will manage the existing technology of the bank.
