On June 9, the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine and PrivatBank held a roundtable on the topic: “The Cost of Trust: How Verification Shapes Standards of Transparency in the Public Sector.” The meeting was dedicated to rethinking how trust in public organizations and volunteer initiatives is formed in current realities. The discussion centered on verification not as a tool for control, but as an element of the trust infrastructure, allowing for increased transparency, accountability, and sustainability of the sector.
Olesia Zhulynska, Head of Public Relations and Communications at PrivatBank, participated in the discussion. Ms. Olesia outlined PrivatBank’s role in forming the architecture of trust in philanthropy and spoke about the creation and development of banking services to ensure transparent and accountable operations: “When we talk about the architecture of trust in philanthropy, the bank’s role in it is very practical. We do not create trust itself. It is created daily through the work of charitable organizations, volunteers, people who implement projects, and report to donors. Our task is to create a reliable and functional foundation upon which this trust can be scaled and preserved.”
PrivatBank demonstrates how a conscious approach, experience, professionalism, and modern banking technologies can effectively work to develop a culture of charitable giving.
As one of the largest financial institutions in the country, which has been developing innovative digital services for many years that provide millions of Ukrainians with quick and convenient support for charitable initiatives, the bank also became a partner of the “Innovations in Charitable Activities” nomination, joining its expert council.
One of PrivatBank's fundamental values is “Created for Innovation.” This partnership aimed to enhance one of the important nominations of the Competition, which recognizes new approaches, technological solutions, digital tools, creative aid formats, and effective models of charitable giving. It is innovation today that helps the charitable sector respond faster to challenges, engage more people, work transparently, and scale good deeds.
