The appointment of Marius Kachmarek as the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of PrivatBank for operational issues by the Supervisory Board is another step towards further synchronization and strengthening of the bank's technological and operational platforms.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank Sharon Easky noted: “PrivatBank is definitely powerful in technology solutions and has an operational infrastructure of national scale. We are very pleased to have Marius overseeing all of the IT and operations activities of the bank. Creating synergy between these two factors will have a decisive impact on the quality of the bank's work and services.”

Marius Kachmarek joined the PrivatBank executive team as Chief Operating Officer more than a year ago. He has extensive prior experience as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer with large European Banks including Raiffeisen Bank, Deutsche Bank, Kredyt Bank (KBC Group) or Eurobank (Societe Generale Group) operating in Poland.

As reported earlier, on December 8, 2020, the Supervisory Board approved a new board structure of PrivatBank, according to which the bank's executive body consists of seven positions.
