PrivatBank has announced a competition to select an external auditor to conduct a mandatory audit of annual financial statements for 2022-2024 with the possibility of extending the provision of services for the next two years.

According to the bank, the participant of the tender should be an auditing entity that meets the requirements of the Law of Ukraine on Auditing Financial Statements and Auditing, the Law of Ukraine on Banks and Banking, and other applicable requirements established by law. The applicant must be included in the section of the Register of auditors and auditing entities, which gives the right to conduct a mandatory audit of financial statements of public interest entities.

Also, the auditing entity must meet the criteria specified in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 2, 2019 No. 859 “On the criteria for selection of the external auditor of state-owned banks.”
